Objectives

  1. Computational Modeling: We would like to address all areas of scientific research related to the Bible where computational modeling can help solidify a biblical position, reveal new information according to a current idea, or counter an erroneous apologetical belief. Where experiments are required for material modeling or for validation, they will be pursued.
  2. Resource for Christian Community: We would like to be a resource for the worldwide Christian community to turn to when needing to address rigorous scientific issues and graduate education. It will be virtual, so professors, students, and researchers in the US or in other countries will interact via email, website, phone, and specified meetings or conferences.
  3. Funding: Since this community is focused upon graduate students earning degrees, we will solicit funding for graduate students for Christian related research. This new endeavor is currently not found in the Christian community.
  4. Literal Biblical View: We will be educating graduate students to foster the next-generation of young earth creationist research. This mentoring (discipleship) program will advocate the Biblical young earth position within the academic community. The Biblically related research would be the application area of the PhD research. Hence, the capability developed within the PhD could be used for secular problem solving or for Biblically oriented problem solving. As such, graduate students will be encouraged to publish articles within secular and creationist journals.
