Goals

  1. To serve our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with our analytical scientific skills. The motivation comes from the "Dominion Mandate" in Genesis 1:26 and the "Jesus is my boss" mandate in Colossians 3:23.
Genesis 1:26 "...and let (man) have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the fowl of the air, over the cattle, over the earth, and over the everything that moves upon the earth..."
Colossians 3:23 "And whatever you do, do it heartily as unto the Lord and not unto men."
  2. To encourage more Christian scientists to join the ranks of those already performing research from a biblical frame of reference (not separating church and state!). Realizing that to study nature adequately, one must acknowledge its Creator who reveals Himself through what He has made.
Romans 1:20 "For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:"
Deuteronomy 29:29 "the secret things belong unto the Lord our God; but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children forever..."
  3. To make undergraduate and graduate students aware of the need to raise the next generation of Christian faculty members, and how God is currently working in this arena.
  4. To educate those currently performing Biblical research, of the opportunities and need for discipleship and mentoring of young Christian scientists.
  5. To raise financial support for the ACGR research by communicating this pre-evangelistic message as a missionary endeavor.
